Calling all mountain and adventure lovers! For the 2024 edition of the Glacier Patrol, we’re looking for volunteers to help make this exceptional event a success. As a volunteer, you’ll be at the heart of the action, providing essential support to the participants in this intense competition across the Alpine peaks. Whether you’re a winter sports enthusiast, a nature lover or simply want to be part of an unforgettable experience, join the adventure and help make this event a memorable one for all participants and spectators.
As a thank you for your dedication, you’ll receive a souvenir Glacier Patrol item of clothing and an exclusive gift. We’ll also pay for your meals and transport, ensuring your comfort during this unique experience in the heart of the Alpine peaks. Please read the volunteers’ charter carefully. It must be approved by each volunteer in order to register.

- Zermatt
- Verbier
Transport
- From your place of residence in Switzerland to where you will be stationed in Zermatt or Verbier and back.
- If the journey is made using your own car, CHF 0.70/km will be reimbursed.
- Volunteers travelling by public transport will be reimbursed for a 2nd class fare on presentation of a receipt. Timetable on www.cff.ch.
Meals
- A lump sum of CHF 70 will be paid to each volunteer for food and drink during the work day. This amount will be paid into the volunteer’s bank account after the event.
